GE Appliances production team member Nydalyn Hazelip prepares to assemble a plastic control panel that forms the consumer-facing interface for GE Appliances’ front-load laundry lineup. This U.S.-made component will be produced by Jones Plastic & Engineering Corp., based in Kentucky and Tennessee, as laundry manufacturing expands at Appliance Park’s Building 2.
At Appliance Park in Louisville, Ky., stamping and fabrication team leader Geoffrey Bush carries a newly stamped side panel produced from galvanized steel supplied by United States Steel Corporation (U.S. Steel) in Pennsylvania and Metals USA in Ohio. This U.S.-supplier-made panel provides essential structure for front-load dryers and future washers to be built at Appliance Park as part of GE Appliances’ latest American investments.
