LOUISVILLE, KY — GE Appliances is thrilled to announce that Lisa Skidmore, Executive Director of Quality Engineering, has been named as one of 10 outstanding leaders who make up the 2026 class of Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame inductees. Women in Manufacturing Association is a national and global trade association headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, dedicated to supporting, promoting and inspiring women who have chosen careers in manufacturing.

“Great manufacturing companies are built by people who know how to deliver results and develop others, and Lisa Skidmore has done both throughout her career,” said Bill Good, vice president of supply chain for GE Appliances. “Her leadership has strengthened quality across GE Appliances while helping create more opportunities for women to grow, lead and shape the future of manufacturing. We are grateful for Lisa’s leadership and proud to see her accomplishments honored nationally.”

The Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame recognizes women whose careers have made a significant and lasting impact on manufacturing. Honorees are recognized not only for their professional achievements, but also for their leadership, mentorship and commitment to advancing opportunities for women across the manufacturing industry.

“As we recognize the 2026 Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame inductees, we're celebrating an incredible group of women whose leadership, innovation and dedication have made a lasting impact on our industry,” said Allison Grealis, WIM President and Founder. “They've not only achieved remarkable success in manufacturing, but they've also invested in others, opened doors and inspired future generations to follow in their footsteps. We're proud to recognize their contributions and welcome them into the Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame.”

Inductees were nominated by their colleagues and industry peers and selected by a judging panel of WIM Executive Committee Board Members. The inductees were chosen based on their significant contributions to the advancement of women in manufacturing.

Skidmore, along with the rest of the class of 2026, will be officially welcomed to the Hall of Fame with recognition during the 16th annual WIM SUMMIT conference, taking place from October 7-9 at Caesar’s Forum in Las Vegas, NV.
