LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Jan. 20, 2015—Kitchen range hoods need not be boring. Add showstopper style to kitchens with one of the new 2015 GE range hoods. Two GE Profile™ Series models—a stunning new flat-glass canopy hood and a new wall-mounted full stainless steel hood—certainly make a statement in the kitchen. Each hood is stainless steel, sleek and modern looking, with a European feel.
“The new designs add drama to the kitchen,” said Brian McWaters, built-in products marketing manager for GE Appliances. “The style ties in beautifully with where our other kitchen appliances are going.”
Features on these hoods include:
- An attention-grabbing appearance that deviates from traditional undercabinet hoods
- Three light settings (on, off, and night light), four fan speeds (including a boost option to quickly vent heat and fumes) and two halogen lights
- Convertible venting and an optional wireless remote control, making the hoods ADA compliant
- A delayed off feature, allowing homeowners to run the fan for an additional 15 minutes with an automatic shutoff
- Stylish controls backlit with LED lighting
Both models are available in 30- and 36-inch widths (flat-glass canopy models PVW7301SJSS and PVW7361SJSS, and full stainless steel hood models PVW7302SJSS and PVW7362SJSS) and retail for an MSRP of $550–$600.* They will be available in May.
