ORLANDO, FL, December 23, 2025 — The Pop-Tarts Bowl and GE Appliances, a Haier company, have renewed their partnership for the 2025 postseason, marking GE Appliances’ second consecutive year providing the Official Toaster of the Pop-Tarts Bowl.

As part of the continued collaboration, a new and improved, fully functioning toaster trophy will return to the sidelines this Dec. 27 at Camping World Stadium, where BYU will meet Georgia Tech at 3:30 p.m. ET with The People's National Championship — and college football's tastiest hardware — on the line.

“We had a great reception from fans with last year’s first electrified version of the Pop-Tarts Bowl trophy,” said Todd Getz, executive brand director at GE Appliances “Our team has upped the game even further this year with a piece that marries engineering know-how with a bit of fun to be expected at this game.”

The renewed partnership builds on the strong fan and media response generated in 2024, when the Pop-Tarts Bowl and GE Appliances helped redefine the trophy presentation with a first-of-its-kind, functional toaster built directly into the championship trophy.

The 2025 edition, developed by GE Appliances' co-creation and micro-factory team at FirstBuild in Louisville, features enhanced toasting capabilities following its headline-making debut last season, plus a removable lid to showcase the inner workings of this 750 watt, 27-pound showpiece.

“Year one showed us just how powerful this partnership could be,” said Steve Hogan, CEO of the Pop-Tarts Bowl. “GE Appliances immediately understood the fun, personality and creativity that define the Pop-Tarts Bowl, and we’re excited to bring them back for another postseason — with an even better toaster.”

The 2025 toaster trophy was unveiled Dec. 15 during a media event featuring Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key and BYU head coach Kalani Sitake, who toasted the first pastries of the Pop-Tarts Bowl season. The trophy was also on display at Tuesday's Pop-Tarts Bowl Day for Kids in Orlando.

On gameday, the upgraded toaster trophy will once again be featured during the Pop-Tarts Bowl postgame ceremony before joining the victors back on campus in either Atlanta or Provo, continuing one of college football’s most distinctive and talked-about postseason traditions.

Fans can also find the trophy at the Pop-Tarts Bowl's pregame FanFest on Tinker Field, where it will be on display as part of a custom activation that features a 14-foot toaster on wheels. For more information or to purchase game tickets, visit PopTartsBowl.com.
