Pretreat stains in a single step
Pretreating garments often prevents permanent staining. The problem is that most laundry rooms don’t have a utility sink. GE Appliances top load washers now have Water Station, a faucet feature in the back of the basin, ideal for pretreating clothes and handwashing delicate items.
Options for using Water Station include “detergent + water” and “water.” When pretreating is done, simply close the lid, letting the clothes soak a bit longer, or pick a cycle and start the load. The dirty water will drain, replacing it with fresh, clean water every time.
Let us add the detergent
Along with Water Station, this novel laundry product line includes the SmartDispense feature so that owners can toss garments in the washer and walk away without measuring out detergent. Instead, the system stores and automatically dispenses detergent and fabric softener based on each load’s size, soil level, water hardness and fabric or cycle type. Gone are the days of straining to see the “Fill Line” on your detergent cap.
